All classes/schools that register to host their own Polar Bear Run or Walk will be invited to participate in an an online Q&A session with members of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy's Polar Bear Rescue Team.

We are very excited to be partnering with Frontier School Division on delivery of the online session and would like to thank them for their support. Frontier School Division will be lending their technical expertise and providing administrative and co-hosting support for the session.

This year's Polar Bear Rescue Team Q&A session will take place on Tuesday, March 12 at 10:00 am.

Register your school's event by February 29 and we will send you all the information you need to participate.

Closer to that date, we will contact all registered schools/classes with more information. Your students will have the opportunity to submit questions and learn from this panel of polar bear experts.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to engage your students in learning about polar bears and important issues related to the affect of climate change on sea ice and Arctic ecosystems. All we ask is that you host your own event that includes some element of fundraising and incorporate lessons about these topics in your classroom. Go big or keep it simple, it's up to you!
